Cell migration and invasion
We aim to understand the mechanisms by which the cytoskeleton controls collective cell remodeling, migration, and how derangement of those facilitates cancer invasion. How the cytoskeleton controls cells adhesion in migrating cells? How cells know the direction to move? How they coordinate and/or communicate to move together? What changes in the cell and in the environment promote invasion?
To ask that we use imaging techniques and cell-based assays in 2D and 3D cellular and mouse models.
